Meet Liz fons
From an early age, Liz was always drawing, painting, and creating — with an instinctive pull toward a life in art and design. With a natural love for making others feel celebrated, she found her passion in creating work that is both beautiful and deeply personal.
After graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2008, Liz began designing wedding invitation suites, quickly developing a signature approach rooted in thoughtful detail and intentional design. While living in New York City, she worked as an event designer for an advertising agency, gaining experience across a diverse range of clients and projects. This chapter helped shape her creative perspective while refining the organization and project management skills that continue to define her work today.
In 2012, Liz founded Jade Social, building a studio known for refined, meaningful design and a deeply personal client experience. After nearly 15 years in business, the studio is now entering a new chapter as Ateljé Fons — an evolution that reflects a more expansive, art-driven direction, encompassing commissioned artwork, murals, and elevated paper goods.
Today, Liz lives in Grosse Pointe Park with her husband, Danny, their sons Leo and Charlie, twin girls Marin and Gwen, and their dog, Crosby.
